to miss GiRL FeST's "She Says 'Soul' Celebration"
of new-skool and old-skool coming together to celebrate
women of the world. Oakland-born hip-hop singer Mystic
creates a conscious vibe with a sense of soul. Hawaii
to L.A. based X-Factor will rock the mic with their eclectic
mix of funk, soul, hip-hop and rock-n-roll. New York based
singer Sparlha Swa will no doubt amaze with her velvet
vocals and unique style. Emily Wells will take you on
her musical journey to the moon and back, and indie fav
Doria Roberts will represent all that is outstanding about
women in rock.
Slam champions Andrea
Gibson (National Slam Champion) of Denver and Lyz Soto,
mentor from Youth Speaks Hawaii, will hit you hard with
their poetic words made of "bullets and windchimes."
